Legislative Committee
APA Idaho Legislative Committee
Our Legislative Committee is comprised of city, county, private sector, and retired planners who will advise the APA Idaho Board on proposed bills and policy statements. We are looking for representation from around the state and from both urban and rural areas. The committee does most (if not all) of its work by phone, video conference, and e-mail, with some in-person testimony at the legislature. In the past, responsibilities on this committee have focused primarily on the session itself (typically January through the 1st or 2nd week of April); however, we are working on a strategy to build relationships with the legislature and other partner organizations year-round.
