We want to extend our sincere gratitude to every planner, local government staff member, and agency partner who joined us for our 2026 Spring Summit - Planning Together: Aligning Agencies for Effective Community Development. Whether you participated virtually or at one of our in-person locations across the state, your engagement made the afternoon of April 15 both productive and inspiring.

The day was filled with insightful takeaways, starting with our municipal case study and continuing through a multi-agency panel that tackled the complex realities of policy and permitting. We were also fortunate to have the APA Idaho Legislative Committee provide a timely debrief on the 2026 legislative session, ensuring we all stay informed on the shifting landscape of our profession.

We are particularly proud of the energy brought to our concluding round table discussions. It was wonderful to see so many of you translating the day’s lessons into concrete implementation strategies for your own communities.
