Community Planning Department- Owyhee County, ID (Posted March 1, 2025)
Owyhee County is accepting applications for a full-time position in the Community Planning Department. The principal function of this position is to perform technical and administrative support duties including research, preparing staff reports, processing land use applications, providing answers to land use inquiries, performing administrative functions, and providing timely courteous service in person, by telephone, and by email. This position is full time 37.5 hours a week, pay is $17.45 for beginning trainees and up to $26.06 for experienced AICP-certified planner. High school diploma or equivalent required, plus a minimum one-year office experience or equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities required to perform the work. Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PERSI, plus vacation and sick leave. Applicants will be subject to a background check.
